FeatureTuesday: Music for all Occasions

28 April 2015

It’s time for this week’s FeatureTuesday and we’re very excited to be focussing on Music for You! The business was set up by the exceptionally talented Andrew Jones and with over 40 years’ playing experience under his belt, he really knows what he’s talking about when it comes to music.

Andrew is a professional trumpet player and conductor and his talents have taken him all over the world. Although based in South Wales, he has travelled the length and breadth of the UK as well as the world having performed at the Sydney Opera House, the Grieghalle in Bergen and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He’s even performed with some of the world’s Music for Youmost renowned musicians including Katherine Jenkins, Only Men Aloud as well as New Zealand opera singer Kiri Te Kanawa.

Today, the Music for You founder can be seen performing at educational concerts with the Welsh Bass Trio or even on the pitch at the Millennium Stadium playing ahead of a Welsh rugby international match.

Having experienced some of the best venues and concerts in the world, Andrew now offers his services for weddings, parties, corporate events, charity gala dinners and funerals. If you’re looking for something bigger than a trumpet, Andrew can provide brass quintets, a fanfare trumpet team, a brass band, a 60’s soul band or even a 15 piece big band. They all provide quality playing and can guarantee that the entertainment will be completely memorable.

And for all you nerds out there (including me and my colleague Jade!) Andrew has even worked on Iwan Rheon’s debut album! For those of you who are unfamiliar with Iwan Rheon, he plays a very important role in the Game of Thrones series! Pretty awesome in our eyes!

Here’s Andrew in action!

He also has a YouTube channel where you can see all his videos.

If you’ve got an event coming up, get in touch with Andrew who’ll be able to provide the relevant entertainment. You can call him on 07973869621 or email andrew@andrewjonesmusic.com.
