This week, the Introbiz networking event will take place at the Radisson Blu hotel, located in the heart of the Welsh capital. It’s been a little while since we’ve been at this lovely venue, but we’re certainly excited to be heading back there.
On Thursday, March 19th from 4-6pm, members and visitors are invited to mingle with various businesses from all sorts of various industries. This event will be a busy one, so make sure you make the most of the opportunity.
After collecting your badge at the reception area, you’ll make your way into the networking area. If you’re new to the networking world, Tracey and Paul Smolinski will be more than happy to introduce you to your target audience and our loyal members, trust me when I say, they’re all really friendly!
The first hour will be used for informal networking where you’re more than welcome to work the room, socialising with everyone. Tracey and Paul will call for attention at 5pm. Tracey will discuss the importance of networking to your business and why following up with your new found connections is absolutely crucial to being a successful networker. Paul will follow by speaking about our upcoming events and what we have planned for the Business Expo this year.
The second hour will take a more formal approach as you all take your places for the power group tables. These tables are colour coded and your badge colour will correspond with your designated table. There’ll be a host on each table and you’ll get 5 minutes to talk about yourself and your business. This is a great chance to speak to a wide range of people in a short space of time. You can also hand out your business cards. Remember to make notes on the power group forms to follow up.
