Chapter has some very exciting news to announce!
As you know, Chapter is a member of the Introbiz network and they are proud to announce that they have been shortlisted for the M&S Community Energy Fund but now, must face the public vote and here’s where you come in!
It’s simple. The more votes Chapter receive, the greater their chance of winning a share of £400,000 to put toward a second set of solar panels.
Their first set was installed on the roof of the building back in 2014 through the support of the Scottish Power Green Energy Trust and the Waterloo Foundation. The idea of this project was to reduce Chapter’s energy consumption and cutting down on bills, raising awareness of solar energy with their visitors as well as the public as well as creating a more sustainable and environmentally friendly venue.
Chapter’s Development Director, Elaina Gray said, “Everyone at Chapter is thrilled to have been shortlisted in the M&S Community Energy Fund. Not only does it give us a fantastic opportunity to secure some more funding allowing for more solar panels to be installed, it also offers great promotion for the excellent environmental work and green efforts we have carried to date.”
Make sure you get your votes in guys!
