There will be two categories businesses can enter, the start-ups which is a category for those who are in the early stages of business, and growth – those businesses that have big potential and are ready to take it to the next level. Entrants can be any age. Winners will receive an abundance of fantastic prizes.
The winners will also be presented with a trophy on the main stage at the Introbiz Expo held at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff on Thursday, 22nd November 2017.
How can you enter?
You may be wondering how it all works. Well, you’re invited to send a 2-minute video of your pitch to us here at Introbiz where 5 lucky semi-finalists will be chosen to present their pitch live on the main stage at the Introbiz Expo.
Each pitch should last around five minutes and anyone interested in partaking can take advantage of a pitching session which will give you plenty of advice and tips on how to perfect your pitch. Following this, you should send us a video with your elevator pitch and this will be considered for the final.
Send us your videos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The judges of The Pitch will be the owners of long-established businesses, and together, they’ll have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to running a successful business. The judges’ line-up will be revealed shortly.
The Pitch 2017
Introbiz collaborated with Big Ideas Wales, Be The Spark and Cardiff City Council to discover the best up and coming entrepreneurs and businesses in Wales. The purpose of ‘The Pitch’ is to provide winners with mentoring and tips top help them further their career and take their business to the next level.
The Pitch was opened by CEO of Be The Spark, Caroline Thompson who introduced the brilliant entries including Eventagious, Rep Wales App, Unifi, Trekinherd and Get Wonky. After the pitches took place, judges Hayley Parsons OBE, Ashley Cooper, Stifyn Parri, Ken Poole and Lyndon Wood discussed their favourite pitches and deliberated who the worthy winner should be. It was such a hard decision as all the entries were brilliant and in the end they decided on two pitches as our winners.
