A Cardiff based restaurant is inviting you all to enjoy an afternoon filled with exceptionally high standard food. Chapel 1877 is celebrating the great success of Kieran Harry, head chef at the venue. He was part of the 6 strong team, including 4 chefs from Celtic Manor Resort, representing the winning team for the “Battle of the Dragons” contest at the Welsh International Culinary Championships.
To celebrate the success Chapel 1877, in partnership with Culinary Association of Wales, are hosting a dragon’s night. Join them for dinner on Sunday 12th April, where you have the opportunity to delight in the actual winning menu. £5 from every ticket sold to Velindre Cancer Centre.
The winning menu is as follows:
Cod cheek with brassica, potted brown shrimp wonton, sweet corn, tomato caviar and coriander foam
Welsh lamb loin with a spiced vegetable and chickpea pudding, lamb bon-bon, pickled anchovy and
aubergine puree, salt baked beetroot, baby carrots with wild garlic gremolata orzo and lamb jus
Caldey Island chocolate marquis with iced white chocolate and orange parfait, a milk fritter infused
with rhubarb and ginger liquor, salted macademia, cookie crumble and scorched ginger meringue
