Steve Carlson of True Potential is a great member to have in the Introbiz network. He may have a wicked sense of humour, but he really knows his stuff when it comes to finance, tax and assisting business owners, and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does.
Sharing a wealth of knowledge on various social media platforms, most noticeably Linked In, he’s great at ensuring we understand finance in a much simpler way and he actually makes the stereotypical subjects such as pensions and tax kind of interesting, dare I say!
Steve is a business owner himself and therefore has a keen interest in the world of business. He’s learnt first-hand about the financial challenges involved with building and growing a business, from a small enterprise to a market leader.
He is a financial planner who provides meaningful financial advice with no jargon and no nonsense. He helps clients understand how things like the profitability of their business, the tax they pay, how they invest their money, and the life choices they make will effect how and when they can achieve financial independence. How does he do this you ask? Well, Steve tells me that he breaks everything down to simple numbers that mean something to people it’s so much easier to understand! Those numbers might be the age they can afford to retire, the amount they have to sell their business for or the extra money they need to earn to achieve their long-term goals.
Steve’s clients are business owners and professionals, including solicitors, accountants, engineers and project managers as well as retired individuals.
Most of his clients have 1 thing in common –they all want to enjoy a comfortable life without having to worry about money. You on the other hand, may have many questions when it comes to balancing your work life with your personal, family time. Both are extremely important but you need a good balance. – Some questions may be as follows:
Q. Can I work less and spend more time with my family?
Q. When can I afford to retire?
Q. How much do I need to sell my business for?
Q. Will I have enough money to enjoy my retirement?
Steve will try to answer these very important questions for you. He will look at what you’re doing and try to formulate a realistic plan in order for you to achieve the best results possible, and then hopefully a better quality of life.
And if that wasn’t enough, he’s also won a whole heap of awards and certificates for his work. He was awarded the Avery Jones medal for the best paper in the UK on inheritance tax planning and interaction with other taxes. No mean feat – and this guy did it! Well done Steve! He’s also a part of many organisations, so you can really trust everything he advises you on – the PFS (Personal Finance Society), the CIOT (Chartered Institute of Taxation) and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
If you’d like some fun, financial advice, seriously, speak to Steve! He’s fantastic at what he does! You can call 07702 645265 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
