Tickets Flying for Beaujolais

You are invited to join Introbiz for a day of celebration and networking at the Madeira Restaurante on the 20th of November, 2014, the very last Thursday of the month. This will be our 6th annual celebration so you really don’t want to miss a truly great event.


Beaujolais is a truly historic event, where locally, it has always been celebrated. The wine is celebrated as being the first harvest of the season. Although Beaujolais wine is not the best quality you can get, due to the quick fermentation process, the wine itself has a fresh and fruity flavour and is considered to be very clean.

In the 1970’s, a great marketing strategy was introduced to celebrate Beaujolais Day. A race was introduced see who could be the first to bring a bottle of Beaujolais into Paris. By law, the wine cannot be released until 12:01am on the day and so the countless bottles of wine are travelling through the night to arrive in the centre of Paris.

As you can probably imagine, this race created a media frenzy, everyone wanted to see who the winner was year after year. The news of this wondrous celebration reached the 4 corners of the world, and to this very day, Beaujolais is celebrated, including here, in Wales.

There are only a handful of tickets left for Beaujolais Day with Introbiz, trust me when I say that they’re flying out! We’ve booked out the whole restaurant for this celebration so there really will be a fantastic opportunity to network and socialise with fellow members of the network and visitors.


You’ll enjoy a glass of chilled, sparkling Prosecco on arrival along with half a bottle of Beaujolais wine each. Here is the delicious menu on offer, where you can choose a stunning starter and main course while you network with fellow celebrators.

Chicken Portuguesa – Chicken breast cooked in tomato, mushrooms, onions, peppers, garlic, wine and cream
Chicken piri piri – Chicken breast marinated in wine, garlic, herbs, chillies and grilled
Pasta Madeira – Pasta cooked in tomato, mushrooms, onions, peppers, garlic, wine and cream
